Towerheath is a manufacturing business you can rely on – for premium products, made just how you want them, by people who understand what you need, and what’s important to you.  There is a significant amount of knowledge, experience and wisdom within the walls of Towerheath – headed up by Allan Locke, with nearly 20 years experience in lighting.  He is supported by Allen Newsome and Wayne Ryan, who have both been working in the lighting industry for over 30 years.  Our customers rely on the design team at Towerheath to ensure that their lighting solution not only works, but is properly finished, efficient and going to last.

Towerheath started life as a business manufacturing the ELSCO tennis court light – a product we still make to this day.  Nearly 20 years down the path, the ELSCO EVR 2 tennis court light is still the best tennis court light in the Australian market.  Pretty impressive when you consider how cut-throat the tennis industry can be.  And it’s still manufactured locally – employing local people and supporting the local economy.

We’ve been on the “green” bandwagon for a long time – it hasn’t always been fashionable, but recycling waste and using recycled cardboard for packaging are just a couple of the ways Towerheath has been environmentally aware in business.  If you’re finding that the embodied energy of the products you use is more of a consideration than it once was, it’s always worth remembering - there’s a huge advantage in not having to ship products all around the world – using local products saves the earth.

All luminaires manufactured by Towerheath meet or exceed Australian Standards and are EMC tested where required. Our photometrics are tested by a NATA approved laboratory, so you can be confident that lighting plans and designs from Towerheath are accurate.
